I’ve had so much fun sharing posts on my blog on different ways to wear sequins. Doing this kind of content has really brought me into the Christmas spirit more than ever. If this is your first time visiting my blog, here and here are my previous posts on how I styled a sequin dress and skirt. Last, but certainly not least, is my demonstration on how I style a pair of sequin pants. This is the best New Year’s Eve outfit ever!!! I know you’re wondering, how is this possibly the best New Year’s Eve outfit ever?
The sequin pants are the perfect alternative to a dress or skirt during winter. I personally do not like my legs exposed to cold weather, so these pants are perfect. I purchased them from Express. They are high waisted to hide that tummy after eating all those Christmas goodies. The only thing I would change is the length of the pants. I’m 5’2″, so it is difficult to find the perfect pair of trousers for my height. However, the pants are so comfortable and hugs my curves in all the right places, so I can overlook that one flaw. Plus, I can have them hemmed, no biggie! Can you believe they were on sale?? The original cost was $108, but I purchased them for $54. That was before using my $15 rewards. What a deal!!! If you do not have a rewards membership with Express, what are you waiting for??
I paired the pants with a white button down blouse that was already in my closet. If you do not have a white blouse in your closet, what are you doing sis! It is easily one of the most essentials items you need. Then, I accessorized the top with a bowtie. My brother would be so proud of me, since he has a huge collection. I love to wear ties with a look but wearing a bowtie was the first for me. Lastly, I finished the look with a red blazer that was thrifted. Yep, thrifted!! And it was 50% off, so I only paid $3. SCORE!!! The accessories tied to this outfit are pearl studs and hair clip from Target along with my Chanel brooch (which is a dupe, shhhh…).
I love this look, because it is super fun with the bowtie added. Also, this outfit is proof that you can look fabulous for New Year’s Eve celebrations without having to show any skin. New Year’s Eve is normally low key in the Allen household every year. Hubby and I wear our pajamas and watch movies. However, I plan on wearing this look to celebrate the New Year. 2020 has been crazy, so I’m doing it big for this culminating event! I have a feeling 2021 is going to be a year to remember.

What are your plans to celebrate the New Year?
