It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas…everywhere you go!! Happy Hump Day!!! Christmas will look a little different withCovid-19 still in affect. Even though I’m a firm believer being careful and following precautions to ensure everyone’s safety, it does not mean we cannot live. With that being said, December is here and it’s officially time to start picking out looks for the holiday events. The little black dress is a go to staple for women to wear for the holidays. However, sequins add more glam to any look. It is also one of my favorite fabrics to wear during Christmas season. Who doesn’t like to sparkle during the most wonderful time of the year?? This sequin wrap dress is perfect for any holiday cocktail party or a winter wedding. For more details on this little black dress, the links are available in the caption above.
It was from BooHoo and was able to purchase it during a 60% off sale. Score!!! But I am obsessed with this little black dress!!! It feels soft and super comfortable. I also love the balloon sleeves that adds flair. I was looser than I expected but I loved the shape plus it comes with a belt. If you want a fitted look, I would suggest sizing down one size. Definitely plan on wearing this at a wedding on New Year’s Day.
I paired this dress with my silver drop earrings from H&M. They add the right amount of sparkle that was not over the top. Then I finished the look with black slingback heels because we are dancing the night away. And that’s all you need to complete this look. Less is more in this outfit as the sequin dress is the focal point of the entire look.

As a special treat, I collaborated with a plus size blogger, Alexia Davis of the Christian lifestyle blog, Her Journey to Freedom. I was honored to work with her and had a blast behind the scenes. I look forward to working with her in the future. We came up with the idea of wearing a similar look for 2 different sizes, petite and plus size. I am in love with her black sequin dress!! The rushing at the bottom is beautiful. And it is hugging her curves at all the right places!! It is also affordable. She paired her look with leopard print heels, which is my FAVORITE. And the bows add the perfect finishing touch. Are those red bottoms?? Yessss sis!!!

Alexia has an awesome that I’m now a fan of. I love her bubbly personality and positive spirit. If you are looking for a blog that is inspiring, yet real and transparent, this blog is for you. For example, her latest blog post on knowing when to walk away was an eye opener. It will have you say, “hmmmm.” But don’t take my word for it, give it a read here. I guarantee you will be blessed!!
Thank you guys for being a part of this with me and until we meet again, love y’all and be blessed.

Yes work it girls. Absolutely loved this post. Its wonderful how you modeled that dress. And you are right there is nothing like sequins to give us women that extra shine during this holiday season.

Those dresses look so festive. I’m sad that I don’t have any parties to go to this year. I think I might make my family dress up with me at home.
